The joy of building...

Why build your own brushless motor? What is the advantage?
Someone else answered: I love it... Why build your own...? Well, to me this is therapy... I mean it... Why do I build models? Because I enjoy it... If you don't enjoy it then don't do it...So here is two good rules to live by... If it's your "spare time" do what you enjoy doing... Playing with toys is what we men do... So never laugh at another man's toys.. Even if it's something really dumb like building big buildings i.e. Donald Trump... ;) *just kidding*
And two... Slow down... Build something just to experience the simple joy in a job you did yourself... Never have I felt so much inner joy than when one of my simple scratch-built models flew... Simple joy fills the heart... That full heart then pours out to those around you and you'll find people wanting to be like you... (oh they may even put you down because they can't feel your joy), but a joyful heart beats longer... stronger... and makes the world a better place for all mankind... Simple joy is what everyone strives to feel... Building for me gives me that joy...So back to the question at hand... "why build?" For the joy of it :) May you truly find Joy in your life :)
